Ikebana is the art of Japanese flower arrangement. Sogetsu Ikebana is a contemporary Ikebana art style that encourages creativity and artistic expression using the natural beauty of flowers, leaves, and branches with unexpected and unconventional materials
The Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix invites you to our 12th Annual Ikebana Art Exhibit presented by The Sonoran Desert Sogetsu Ikebana Study Group.
Sogetsu Ikebana promotes the practice of ikebana by anyone, anywhere in the world, any time, with any kind of material. Our local artists will show work in traditional styles with traditional branches and flowers and exotic works with local desert materials as well as very unusual materials like plastics, metals, and fabrics.
Lift your spirits outside with nature and special ikebana art this weekend in our beautiful garden.

Come to see beautiful art creations that embellish the serenity of the strolling Japanese garden in the middle of downtown Phoenix.

Special Event Admission: Limited admission to 150 people per time slot (Every one hour)

COVID19 PRECAUTIONS:
NEW STYLE FOR IKEBANA EXHIBIT: Max 150 people per time-slotted ticket for the entire exhibit. Slots available every one hour. Masks are required. There will be no demonstrations or group tour. Bar drinks will be available.
Gate tickets also available only if we have enough capacity. Pre-sale tickets are recommended!!
